Use of the service

Filu provides file conversion tools designed to run on your device when the selected conversion allows it. You are responsible for choosing files you have the right to use and for checking converted outputs before relying on them.

Software access and license

If we offer paid app access, your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the provided app builds. It does not give you ownership of Filu, its source code, brand, or distribution rights.

Restrictions

You agree not to misuse Filu or interfere with its normal operation.

  • Do not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or lease the app unless we expressly allow it.
  • Do not remove copyright, trademark, license, or security notices from the app.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under open-source licenses for included components, including rights related to included FFmpeg browser components.
  • Do not use Filu to violate law, third-party rights, software licenses, or codec patent obligations.

Payments and refunds

If Filu sells digital downloads, licenses, or paid access, payment terms will be shown at checkout. Because digital products can be accessed immediately, refunds may be limited unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.

Privacy

Our privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy. File conversions are designed to run locally when possible, but website features, checkout, support, analytics, and licensing flows may require limited data processing.

Disclaimers and liability

Filu is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
